Spinning Wheel Workshop - Learn to spin vacation workshops in Nova Scotia

Accommodations...

Unpretentious, relaxed, and friendly -- The Spinner’s Loft provides two single room, home-style accommodations, with breakfast and dinner, in a country atmosphere. Other dinner options in the area are possible such as the Memory Lane Heritage Village.

We care about the quality of our menu and our ingredients. Local and organic products are used as much as possible, and we serve FairTrade coffees. Vegetarian meals available upon request. Please tell us of any food allergies.

Reservations can also be made at a nearby Bed and Breakfast
establishment; Jonah By The Sea Bed and Breakfast is lovely and just down the road. They have 2 double rooms and 1 single. Tell them you are attending a workshop here and they will give you a discount. Contact them at: wjonah@accesswave.ca or see their website. or: BBCanada.com/associations/novascotia/

We are within an hour’s drive of the capital city of Nova Scotia and the Stanfield International Airport. The Spinner’s Loft is situated on the Eastern Shore of the province where there are abundant opportunities for leisure hiking, birdwatching, swimming, beach strolling, and canoeing in Canada’s beautiful “Ocean Playground”.

Now, that’s a vacation!

See you at The Spinner’s Loft! Come, have fun, and spin with us.

After attending a weekend workshop in 2006, Nicole Coolen of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia emailed her weaving guild: "It was a beautiful setting, amazing food (like Leslie’s own hand-picked chanterelle mushroom and mussel soup!) and I left feeling healthy, happy and really inspired to spin."

In Spring, 2008, Shawn told us, "I've never eaten better -- thought, care, passion and imagination, beautifully prepared. This was a learning experience, a holiday, a retreat."
